Online Store / Cree LED Running Lights v2
These motorcycle running lights are the brightest we have found so they just had to go in the BikeVis Store.
This pair of high power running lights each come with four Cree LED emitters, each focused with a multifaceted reflector and 'E' marked lens. They are also supplied with a metal bracket for easy mounting just about anywhere.
These lights can be fitted to any motorcycle, but ideally would suit larger bikes like tourers and adventure style rides (BMW1200GS etc), though they currently grace our ZX10R test bike.
Below you can see them compared with the visible light of a 55 Watt HID Xenon. (they produce a much whiter light than pictured, the light level overwhelms the camera)
With this kind of light output you would expect high current, but they draw less than 0.75A..
Though they don't project light, as a running light and to other motorists they look the same. I think it's safe to say you are unlikely to be missed.
