independant switch

Hi,
      I have recently discovered this site and have an idea for my bike, vn1600. I would like to put a pair of running light strips and 4 bullets on the front and 4 bullets on the rear. My normal lights are on whenever the bike is in use and I would only want the extra lighting in bad weather or at night. Is there a way I can link all the extra lighting together and control it with a separate switch.

Hi Peter and welcome

You could easily control all those lights from a switch by switching the positive feeds to the lights, but I would be tempted to run them all the time to give 'daytime running'.
