Cree DRL Problem

Hi
My Cree DRL's have developed a fault, with only one side working. I have swapped the pods around and confirmed that it's not a faulty pod.

I am however, getting some unusual voltage readings. On the side that is working, I get 23V. On the side that's not working I'm only getting 5V?!?

I've done a visual inspection of all the wiring & can't find any breaks or problems, so I'm wondering if the control unit is playing up.

Looking at the website, it would seem that my DRL's have been super seeded by a newer version, so the attached photo is just to confirm which model I have.

Any suggestions?

Richard

Hi
Thanks for the super prompt dispatch of the replacement control box.

Anyway, I've finally gotten round to doing the fittings but I'm slightly confused with the wiring. I'm assuming
Red - Positive & Black - Negitive but what are the blue & brown leads for?

Cheers
Richard

Hi Richard

Just ignore those wires and leave disconnected. Only the Red and Black are needed connecting direct to the battery. The lights will sense engine switch on and start up...
