In my instructions it mentions that Podmods use a switched negative. I was planning on using the positive on the back side of the headlight fuse and running the negative straight to the frame of the bike for a ground because after checking at the schematic for my 1981 Honda GL500 it looks like only positives are switched on this bike. Is this okay? Am I missing something? Is it because they don't sell Carlsberg where I live?

Hiya

You can supply the power to the podmod fine like that, it's red wire to the headlight fuse and it's grey wire to the frame.

The switched negative is on the output side that powers the Bullets. So the black + black / white wires must go direct to the Bullet wires and nothing else.

Any beer should work fine, if you can't find anything strong enough just drink more :D
