Honda Deauville 700 VA ABS 2010 Installation

Honda Deauville 700 VA ABS 2010 BikeVis Bullets v2 with Podmod installation

Tools required. Philips Screw Driver, Soldering Iron, Solder, Insulation Tape, Stanley Knife, Wire cutters. Volt Meter (Optional)

1)   Remove the headlight under cowl.  (Four screws)



2)   Drill two holes 3/16" drill for where the bullets are to be positioned. (use the templates provided). Pass the wires through the holes but do not fix in position.





3)   Remove position light from headlamp casing. A gentle pull downwards is all that is required.



4)   There are two wires connected to the running light. Black/Brown (BL/BR) which is positive and Green (GR) which is negative (GND).



5)   Carefully strip back about 1/8" of wiring insulation on both wires of position light.

6)   Connect the PodMod red wire to the BL/BR wire of the position light and the PodMod grey wire to the G wire of the position light. Solder up both wires and insulate with tape.



7)   Attach the bullet two white/black wires to the Podmod white/black wire. Attach the bullet two black wires to the Podmod black wire. Solder up all connection wires and insulate with tape.

8)   Start up Honda and check the bullet lights work. If they do not check the wire and connected correctly polarity wise. Also check the 10A fuse under the seat.

9)   The PodMod and wiring can now be tided up and secured to the Horn securing bar with a cable tie.



10)   Reseat the position light back in the headlamp casing

11)    The Bullet wiring can now be tided up and secured in the hollow of the under cowl and secured with a cable tie.



12)   Remove the green film from the bullets and fix in position to the under cowl. Hold and press each for at least two minutes.

13)   Replace the under cowl and re-secure with the four screws.

14)   Start up Honda and check the bullet lights work.

15)   Job done. Have a beer.
