Resolved: ST1100 HID Lights

Hi I'm a newbi to your forum.
I hope you can help me.
I would like to upgrade the standard lights to HID.
As the bike has two lights and bulbs, would I need to HID units?

I'm pretty sure the ST11 has two H4 bulbs (low and high in single bulb)

This would require two BiXenon kits... these use a shutter mechanism to switch between low and high beam in a instant and avoid the usual delays as the arc starts up.

There have been a few cases where a bike can't supply enough current to start two HID at the same time, though they draw less power when running the startup current is more than a standard halogen
