Helmet Light

Hi,
Would it be possible to have a form of stick on red light that can be fixed to the rear of a crash helmet?
This would give the rider a higher up light, as they now fit in most cars, increasing the visibility above the car roofs in traffic. It could have some sort of unit that splices into the bike lights and brake lights and links to the helmet light via wireless to activate increased brightness when braking. The light unit could be shaped (slightly curved) to fit the rear of a helmet and also be visible from the sides.
Just tell me if this is a stupid idea and not possible.

Thanks for the idea... deffo worth some thought

One problem is that nothing should be fixed in any way to a crash helmet (even stuck as the adhesive can weaken the shell)

Yes, I thought it might be a silly idea.
You can get stickers specifically for crash helmets though so some adhesives must be ok.Here are some from getgeared:
