Having just fitted a pair of bullets under the mirrors of my R1200RT (picture to follow when I remember!), I can't help thinking that having the wire coming out through the mounting pad is a very limiting design. I managed to get away without drilling by mounting at the mirror joint and I am sure there are lots of people who don't want to drill their panels. Might it not be better to have the wire coming out of the back of the bullet case or underneath the body at the back rather than through the bottom as you could then be more flexible with where you can mount it and run the cable?

Just a thought...

Hi Harkers

Thanks for the ideas on the cable exit... we do plan at some stage to make a more complex and flexible design that gives options on cable routing.
