Title: Resolved: Switch ?
Post by: Gordy on August 07, 2009, 11:57:28 AM
If I fit 2 sets, do I need a relay or can they be switched directly to a live feed such as when the ignition is on. Do you supply a switch and relay if its needed?

If you don't supply them in a chrome finish, can the plastic be painted OK? I want to fit driving lights to  cuiser.

Thanks for info.....Gordy

Hi

They draw hardly any current (30mA each) so it's best to just take a feed straight off a switched live... like the Headlamp / Sidelight circuit.

We don't supply a switch as most sidelights / headlamps are on all the time

The finish is a gloss plastic, but I see no reason why you couldn't spray them (you'd need a plastic primer first)

Maybe in the future we can make a chrome version, but even on a cruiser style bike they will look ok as so small (1 inch in length)
