I already have the bullets fitted to my Piaggio MP3 400 scooter - which I am very pleased with,

I am now thinking about your H1D conversion.

My MP3 400 has an H1 bulb fitted for the low beam in one headlamp housing, and in a seperate headlamp housing has an H1 bulb for high beam.

I only want to replace the low beam bulb.

Does your conversion run at a lower temperature than a standard H1 bulb ?

I don't want any overheating or fuse blowing.

Also what is the power consumption like ?

Hi

Good idea only to fit to the low beam as with HIDs there is a small start up delay as the arc fires up so they are really only suitable for low beam.

The bulbs themselves run much cooler than a normal halogen bulb and only consume 35 Watts compared with 55 Watts of a normal bulb yet produce much much more light.

Please don't hesitate to get back to me if you have further questions
