Resolved: BMW K1200S & LED Running Light Strips

I purchased a set of the flexible running light strips for use on a BMW K1200S, has anyone mounted these to this model as I am having trouble on finding a suitable location to mount then so that they face fully forward when fitted to the bike?

I've not seen anyone mount these before on the K1200, but one thing to remember is the strips produce light in a very omni-directional nature so they don't have to be fully forward facing....

One idea would be to light one of them up with a PP3 9v battery and offer them up to the bike to test different positions and visibility... 

On many tourers wing mirrors can be a great place to mount...
