Honda Blackbird - HID & Bullets

Thought I'd post some pictures of my bird after the headlight conversion

HID Installation was straight forward, I did have a problem with a faulty bulb but that was sorted with Dan via email very quickly - especially as it was jubilee weekend!

Removed the front fairing to give me better access, stuck the ballast unit onto the back of the clock unit - cleaned the clock surface with white spirit first. Then its just a case of removing the old bulb, new bulb in, connect up to ballast unit, finish.

As for the Bullets, measured out points to drill and drilled from inside to out with my cheapo lidl dremel tool which is excellent, then wired them up.

So far I am pleased with the results, keen to get out and have a play at night :)

I think it's really freshend up the front of a bike that's been around for ~10+ years

Thanks for sharing Pete, I agree really makes the front end look better... wait till you try the HID at night :)
