Please note that cameras do not capture the brightness of the LED lighting used in our products



This K1100LT has Bullets out wide for a good profile.... and the paint work would have me shaking in fear if in mirrors :)

Exactly the same bike as my fathers... he loves it, they just run and run forever

I wish it was at times... Gearbox failure, then 18 months later clutch spline failure (boxing day, its still in bits!) have left me rather less than happy at times, still nippers deau and my F658GS are getting more use!

Ouch!, well my dads LT is still going.... but the thing barely leaves tickover tbh so I hope a gearbox fail isn't waiting to happen also :(

Clutch spline sounds a real pain to fix!

The gearbox had been apart whilst 'in service' looking going by the circlip being used as a washer and sealant where dry flanges should be, during reassembly the selector pin bearing had been missed off ::) one selector, resulting in the pin failing, and the box self selecting 2nd whilst travelling at speed  ;) in 5th, it locked up solid, the rear wheel locked for ~ 4 feet (at SPEED  ;) ) before the drive shaft cush rubber sleeve failed allowing it to free-wheel. As the box was notchy I'd already got one from E-bay, with knackered clutch splines, so I swapped the input shafts over. The drive shaft was the most expensive part in the end, good used cost over a ton, new was over 350!
The clutch disc splines are whats failed this time, it's only a couple of hours longer than a gearbox swap to do, but a cold damp garage that needs reroofing hasn't helped :( ...
Still with all the anti-biker activity living so close to the A32 riding a smaller bike has had it's advantages, though I've been stopped for my low rubber mounted LED torches 'flickering' due to the piss poor state of the roads, and for daring to have a sticker suggesting drivers should open their F***ing eyes that a bus driver reported me for! 1/2" tall letters, how close was that b'stard to read it???

Oh and it's got the PODs fitted now, alternator output issues killed the Bullets as you know, thanks for sending the Pods last year.

Glad they still going strong Neil. My father has the same lights on his LT with no problems at all.
