Hello, had some bike viz bullets delivered this week and attempted to fit them this afternoon, looked at other installations and decided to have a go. This is what I've done so far :
1. Pulled the side light housing from the main head light unit showing a green and brown wire.
2. twisted the two black /white wires together and connected them in a posi tap connecter, now which colour wire does this splice in to green or brown.
3. Twisted the plain black wires together and also them in a posi tap connector.
That's it so far, motor electrics not being my forte was wondering if everything is ok so far but now stuck as where to go from here, any help will be greatly appreciated (as long as told in simple terms)
Thanks Chris................. VFR750 F 1995 by the way
Hi Chris
Sorry you are having trouble, you are on the right track for sure.
I've not found a exact diagram for your bike but on a VFR400 of a similar age the brown wire is positive, green is ground.
So....
Bullet Black / Whites to BROWN
Bullet Blacks to GREEN
Posi-taps can be unreliable but you should be ok.
If you get the wires the wrong way around no damage will be done, they will just fail to light.
Let me know how it goes

Thanks for the reply fluke.
Works perfect, don't know why they didn't work for me earlier but never mind, maybe it was the posi taps although I still used them.
I shall try and upload some pics later.
Thanks again for the advice.
Chris.
You're welcome Chris, glad you are up and running
Here are some pics I said I would upload, hope they are of use to other VFR750 owners....................
