 Hi

I would like to start by saying that I love the bullets they are great, just what I was looking for,

I have a 2009 ERF6 which runs a H7 bulb (I hate it) which I have converted to HID back when I brought the bike (sorry but not with one of your kits) I have since swapped from HIDs to standard lights and aback again a couple of times now.  the is because I don't find the beam distribution to be right with HIDs and I seem to get a very narrow Beam, and not seem to light up the road properly I then came across your HID kits but I am a bit apprehensive about getting a set based on past experiences.  So I have a couple of questions

1. Is it that ER lights are just crap in general or is it some think I am doing
2. I find that if I have both hi and low lights on at the same time then the come out different colours (this is rather annoying when riding on country roads)
3. I have heard that there are different types of H7 bulbs is this true and which do I need for my bike?

I currently do around 15,000 to 20,000 miles a year so good lights are essential but at the moment I try to avoid riding at night because I can seem to find the right set up to make me feel safe.

The lights on my old ZZR 600 were brilliant I thought that a new bike would be better but sadly not

hope you can help

Hi Matt

Glad you like the Bullets :)

The problem can be on some bikes with a reflector headlight unit that a normal HID bulb does not produce the correct pattern. It's very rare for the width to be effected, usually they just cause glare due to cut off problems

We can supply a H7 kit with a H7R bulb, this bulb emulates the pattern of a Halogen H7 and should fix any pattern problems. Maybe you could just buy a H7R bulb for your existing ballast ?, if this sounds a option I could send you a trusted supplier via msg.

It's not guranteed though, it all depends on the type of relector.

One option would be to bypass the HID route and fit uprated bulbs, I believe you can get Osram Nightbreakers in H7, these produce around 150% the light and are much whiter.

thank for your help

i have had a look at my head lamp and it has a square reflector made out of metal and the slot that lets the light through is quite narrow and small i think what this is one of the issues

but i think i will try some H7R 6000K bulbs first then if that don't work then ill get some Osrams if you could put me in contact with some one to supply the HID bulbs that would be great rather that than some dodge dealer on eBAY
