modulator not working

Hi, I've had a couple of bullet lights on my bike for about a year with no problems, I decided to upgrade to the modulator which makes them glint, very easy to wire it in, I made sure it had an independent earth & supply ie not sharing with any other circuit, however it will not glint although the lights come on as usual, so they must have a supply & an earth, battery is fully charged, how long does the modulator take to come on line, I left it for 5mins. any advice gratefully received.

Sorry you are having trouble

The modulation starts after only a couple of seconds. The podmod modulates it's ground / earth wire, so the podmod must only connect to the bullets and nothing else. The bullets must only connect to the podmod with both wires nothing else.

Can you confirm this is the case ?
