Hi and welcome

There are many options, from very small lights like our ever popular Bullets to much more powerful units like the Cree running lights.

They are all easy to wire in and just require a supply usually taken from the headlight circuit.

thanks for the welcome, and the advice, the headlights circuit on the pan, keeps the lights on all the time. cant knock them off, could i hot wire it from the battery, and put a switch on them? thanks again,  i will check out the Cree " thanks again ,, ranger,,

Hi

Yes you can do that fine, just with running lights you'll probably want them on all the time anyway so switch might not get much use.

The downside going direct to battery is you could leave them on by accident, though the Cree units would last a couple of days like this before battery was drained.
