BikeVis Bullets v2 on a BMW R1150R
« on: November 27, 2013, 02:13:03 PM »
Hello there,
I'm wondering about what the controller on the Bullets v2 can do.  Basically, I run with lights on all the time and would mount the bullets in the cooling fins either side of the tank and it may make better sense to route the power from the battery.

Do the lights come with a controller that detects when there is a feed to the battery or will I be better to splice onto my headlights feed?

Thanks for any advice!

Hi and welcome

The Bullets have no controller, so are best linked to your sidelight wires so they are always switched on. This is by far the simplest way to power them.

Thanks - very clear and I'll be splicing onto some headlamp feeds then :)

I've pulled the trigger on some bullets :D
